Mixed Flavor is the art of blending two or more e-liquid flavours into a single VapeJuice“>vape juice to create a new, layered taste experience. Instead of vaping a single fruit, dessert, or tobacco note, vapers combine flavours—either by dripping different liquids onto a Coil“>mesh coil, filling a tank with alternating flavours, or purchasing pre-blended “fusion” bottles—to produce complex profiles such as strawberry-cream, mango-ice, or coffee-caramel. The purpose is to personalise vapour, refresh the palate, and extend the life of partial bottles left in every vaper’s drawer.

Technical Details

Mixed Flavour can be achieved in three main ways:

• Tank layering: successive fills of 1–2 mL of each flavour; ratio control is done by the order and volume of each pour.
• RDA dripping: 3–5 drops of each liquid directly onto a mesh coil or cottonwick; heat (200–250 °C) fuses volatiles instantly.
• Pre-mixed commercial: manufacturers use 50/50 to 70/30 VG/PG bases, add complimentary flavour concentrates at 5–20% total, steep 3–14 days, and label the result “fusion” or “twist.”

PG carries top-notes (fruit, menthol), VG delivers body (cream, custard). Balancing total flavour % below 25 prevents coil gunk and wicking issues. Nicotine strength should be averaged: mixing 12 mg with 0 mg in equal parts yields 6 mg. High-mAh regulated mods allow temperature-controlled blending, whereas mechanical mods rely on build resistance to avoid overheating layered sweeteners.

Usage & Tips

• Start with complementary profiles (peach + yogurt) before attempting contrast (tobacco + cola).
• Clean or re-wick between radically different mixes to avoid “ghosting”; a quick MTL puff without firing can clear residual liquid.
• Label your bottle with the ratio (e.g., 60% mango / 40% ice) so you can replicate or tweak later.
• Watch coil colour: dark gunk after one day means the blend is too sweet or sweetener-heavy—dilute with plain PG/VG base.
• Store experimental mixes in a cool cupboard for 24 h to let molecules marry; shake before every refill.
