The Profile RDA is a rebuildable dripping atomiser (RDA) engineered for mesh-coil vaping. Instead of traditional wound wire, it uses a perforated metal strip that heats evenly across a wide surface, delivering dense clouds and vivid flavour with minimal ramp-up time. Juice is dripped directly onto the cotton-wicked mesh, giving vapers instant, drip-fresh taste without the bulk of a tank. Designed for both newcomers to building and seasoned enthusiasts, the Profile RDA combines the simplicity of a pod system with the performance of high-wattage power mode setups, making it a staple in the Australian dripping scene.
Technical Details
The Profile RDA’s spring-loaded ceramic support plate pushes cotton firmly against the mesh, eliminating hot spots and allowing consistent wattage from 40–70 W. Most meshes measure 16 mm × 6.8 mm, offering 0.13–0.18 Ω resistance in SS316L or Kanthal grades. The 24 mm stainless-steel deck features angled terminals that accept both nexMESH and Wotofo-style strips, while a 5 mm deep juice well extends drip intervals. Adjustable top-side airflow—18 tiny holes arranged in a honeycomb pattern—lets users fine-tune draw between restricted lung and airy cloud chasing. Variants include the Profile 1.5 (25 mm, dual-clamp posts) and the Profile M RTA, which ports the same mesh platform into a tank format for longer puff count sessions.
Usage & Tips
Begin by gently bending the mesh into a shallow arc, trimming so its edges sit flush with the deck posts. Use 100 % Japanese organic cotton, fluffed to the thickness of a shoelace, and compress it lightly under the spring plate—too tight and wicking will stall, too loose and you’ll flood. Prime with 8–10 drops of 70/30 VG/PG e-liquid, pulse the coil at 20 W to check for even glow, then vape at 50–60 W. Chain-vapers: tilt the Tip“>drip tip between pulls to re-saturate the upper cotton and avoid dry hits. Always lock your mod when re-dripping; mesh ramps instantly and can singe cotton if fired empty.
