Definition

A Stacked Mod is a mechanical or regulated vape device that houses two or more replaceable batteries connected end-to-end in series, effectively doubling the voltage output compared with a single-battery mod. By stacking the cells, the unit delivers higher wattage and longer run-time without increasing footprint dramatically. It is purpose-built for experienced vapers who want extreme power for low-resistance, Sub-Ohm builds or extended battery life, yet prefer the flexibility of removable cells over built-in packs.

How It Works

When batteries are stacked in series, their voltages add while capacity (mAh) remains the same as one cell. Two fully-charged 18650s at 4.2 V each provide 8.4 V to the coil, resulting in up to ~200 W on a 0.3 Ω build. A hybrid 510 cap ensures direct battery-to-atomiser contact in mechanical versions, whereas regulated Stacked Mods use DC-DC converters for accurate wattage and Short Circuit Protection.
