What is Zone Heating in Vaping?

Zone Heating is an advanced coil-warming technique where only a specific section of the coil is heated at any one time, rather than energising the entire wire length. By pulsing power across micro “zones,” the wick is fractionally fed with e-liquid, vapour is produced, then the controller moves to the next zone. The goal is to cut down on ramp-up time, extend coil life, moderate temperature, and intensify flavour without pushing the device into high-wattage territory. Finally, remember that zone heating is not suitable for thick, high-VG liquids above 80 % unless you lengthen pulse intervals, otherwise centre zones can carbonise and shorten coil life.
