Definition

In vaping, a seal is any flexible, non-porous barrier—usually an O-ring, gasket, silicone plug or membrane—used to create an airtight or watertight closure between two parts of an atomiser, tank, pod or mod. Its purpose is to prevent e-liquid leaks, block airflow from unintended paths, and protect internal electronics from moisture or dust. How Seals Work

Seals compress between mating surfaces when parts are screwed together.
